LANDSCAPE YARD SALES MANAGER

 Tegra Australia is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated person for the position of Landscape Yard Sales Manager based in Tegra’s Cootamundra facility.

 About the Job

Primarily as the Landscape Yard Sales Manager, overseeing the Landscape sales outlets at Cootamundra, Harden and Young. However other duties include:- sales, servicing customer needs, work in a safe manner, stock control, maintain a clean presentable workplace, completing clerical duties, staff supervision, any other duties as directed and to work and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.

 The successful applicant will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm along with:

- Experience in the retail environment.

- High level of customer service skills.

- Product promotion and sales.

- Stock control of supplies and product.

- Experience in Microsoft Office applications.

- Excellent organisational skills.

- Have a knowledge and understanding of the WH&S requirements.

- MR Class Licence advantageous.

Senior Plant Operator – Tegra Australia – Braidwood NSW - Warri Quarry

 The role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Plant Operator for our Warri Quarry located at Braidwood NSW.

The position is for a hands-on senior plant operator supporting the Quarry Manager in a medium sized sand and aggregate Tier 2 quarry.

Duties include all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the quarry.

Excavation, haulage and processing of soil, washed sands, river pebbles and crushed aggregate.

Maintenance and servicing of fixed and mobile plant.

A sound knowledge of Mine Safety and WHS is essential in sand and gravel quarrying.

 Experience to successfully operate and supervise the operators of a variety of mobile and fixed plants including loaders, excavators, graders, dump trucks, crushers, screens, and conveyors.

 Responsibilities

·       Follow the directions of and report to the Quarry Manager.

·       Supervision of experienced and in-training staff.

·       Ensure daily prestarts, maintenance, servicing, housekeeping and general duties are performed and completed safely.

·       Adhere to the requirements of the Mine Safety Management Plan.

 What you will need to succeed

·       Current driver's license

·       Demonstrate a passion and level of experience that makes you a valued leader in the team providing support to the Quarry Manager.

·       Administrative and mechanical aptitude.

·       Experienced in quarrying or mining operations and procedures.

HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANIC - COOTAMUNDRA

Tegra Australia’s Cootamundra Workshop has a fulltime position available for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated tradesperson.

The successful applicant will hold Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or relevant Heavy Vehicle Trade qualification.

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

  • Experience with diagnostics, repairs, servicing and overhauling of heavy vehicles including trucks, agricultural equipment and light vehicles.

  • Safety focused with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.

  • Good communication skills.

  • A dedication to providing quality work.

  • Able to work within a team environment.

  • Hold a current HR licence.

Tegra Australia is inviting applications for a Truck and Dog Driver ideally based in Yass, Jugiong or Gundagai, servicing our customers and concrete batch plants from our Jugiong and Bereena quarries.

Welder - Fabricator Position - Cootamundra NSW

Tegra Australia Pty Ltd is a pre-mixed concrete and quarry operator based in Southern NSW operating a large fleet of concrete agitators, rigid tippers, truck & dogs, prime movers & trailers, B-double cement tankers, concrete pump, mobile & fixed plant and light vehicles.

Tegra Australia is inviting applications for an experienced Heavy Welder/Fabricator to be based in Cootamundra. Reporting to the Fleet Manager you will be working in a team environment in our large workshop facility.

 

·  Welding and fabrication of new projects and refurbishments of plant and equipment.

·  Repairs and maintenance to mobile and fixed plant.

·  Experience with electric and oxy welding.

·  An understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and auto electrics.

·  Trade qualifications preferable but not essential.

·  Be safety focused with a good understanding of WHS principles.

·  Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, professionalism and customer service with good communication skills.

·  Hold a current HR licence.

·  Remuneration based on experience and qualifications.
