Tegra Australia’s Cootamundra Workshop has a fulltime position available for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated tradesperson.

The successful applicant will hold Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or relevant Heavy Vehicle Trade qualification.

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

  • Experience with diagnostics, repairs, servicing and overhauling of heavy vehicles including trucks, agricultural equipment and light vehicles.

  • Safety focused with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.

  • Good communication skills.

  • A dedication to providing quality work.

  • Able to work within a team environment.

  • Hold a current HR licence.

Yard person/Delivery Driver

Tegra Australia is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated person for the position of Yardman/Delivery Driver based in our Cootamundra Landscape Supplies yard. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm along with:

• Customer service skills.

• Hold HR Class Licence.

• Competency in front end loader operations advantageous.

• SafeWork forklift licence advantageous.

• Hold Construction Industry White Card

WELDER / FABRICATOR

JOB REFERENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Summary:

Primarily as Welder/Fabricator at the Tegra Cootamundra workshop, however other duties include:- repairs and maintenance to vehicles, trucks and plant, work in a safe manner, cleaning and maintaining plant and equipment, maintain a clean presentable workplace, any other duties as directed and to work and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.

Hands on Duties Include but are not limited to:

·                 Welding and fabrication of new projects and to operational plant and equipment;

·                 Repairs and maintenance to mobile plant – agitator trucks; truck & dog, semi-trailer and B-double combination haulage trucks; tipper and flat top trucks; front end loaders; forklifts; mobile plant and other plant as directed by the Fleet Manager;

·                 Adhere to the requirements of the Tegra Maintenance Policy and Procedures Manual;

·                 Complete paper work as required by company policy and NHVAS;

·                 Housekeeping duties such as maintaining a clean and presentable workplace, workshop, tools and amenities;

·                 Liaise with Fleet Manager, mechanics, drivers and operators with regard to repairs, maintenance and breakdown of vehicles, plant and equipment;

Clerical Duties Include:

·                 Ensure the correct entries are made on Repair, Maintenance & Service Documents, Job Cards and are signed off upon repair completion;

·                 Liase with Fleet Manager for all purchases clearly identifying parts required and for which project, vehicle and/or plant;

·                 Complete and submit to the Fleet Manager project progress reports, vehicle and plant maintenance management documentation- service and maintenance documentation, invoices, WHS documentation, timesheets etc;

General:

·                 Commit to always providing the highest level of company service;

·                 Ensure at all times you are appropriately dressed and presented in accordance with company policy and procedure;

·                 Conduct yourself in a proper and professional manner in accordance with company policy and procedure;

·                 Work in a safe manner in accordance with company WHS policy and procedures;

·                 Attend training seminars or courses as required;

·                 Complete in-house induction and training;

Qualifications:

·                 Hold the appropriate Welder/Fabrication/Boiler Maker Technology qualification;

·                 Experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repairs and operations advantageous;

·                 Hold a current Driver’s Licence;

·                 Heavy vehicle Driver’s Licence advantageous;

·                 Have General Induction White Card;

·                 Forklift operator’s licence preferable;

Reporting:

Report directly to the ‘Fleet Manager’ or in his absence to senior management.

Plant Operator Warri Quarry

Tegra Australia Pty Ltd is a quarry and pre-mixed concrete operator based in Southern NSW.

Tegra Australia is inviting applications for an experienced Quarry Plant Operator at their Warri Quarry located at Braidwood NSW.

The successful applicant will be:

·      Hands on, energetic and be able to work as part of a team.

·      Reporting to the Quarry Manager.

·      Will be required to work in all aspects of the day to day operations of the quarry and its plant and equipment, including but not limited to front end loader, excavator, dump truck and processing plant operation and servicing.

·      After a trial period be enrolled in Cert III Surface Extraction Operations

·      Previous experience advantageous

·      Experience in operating heavy earthmoving equipment is essential.

AGI DRIVER YASS PLANT

Hands on Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Operate front-end loader, delivery trucks (concrete agitators and tippers), ensure vehicles, plant, equipment and yard clean and presentable at all times;

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Drivers Licence, minimum standard of HR;

• Have General Induction White Card;

• Competency for Front Loader operation;
