LANDSCAPE YARD SALES MANAGER

 Tegra Australia is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated person for the position of Landscape Yard Sales Manager based in Tegra’s Cootamundra facility.

 About the Job

Primarily as the Landscape Yard Sales Manager, overseeing the Landscape sales outlets at Cootamundra, Harden and Young. However other duties include:- sales, servicing customer needs, work in a safe manner, stock control, maintain a clean presentable workplace, completing clerical duties, staff supervision, any other duties as directed and to work and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.

 The successful applicant will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm along with:

- Experience in the retail environment.

- High level of customer service skills.

- Product promotion and sales.

- Stock control of supplies and product.

- Experience in Microsoft Office applications.

- Excellent organisational skills.

- Have a knowledge and understanding of the WH&S requirements.

- MR Class Licence advantageous.

- Competency in front end loader operations advantageous.

- SafeWork forklift licence advantageous.

HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANIC - COOTAMUNDRA

Tegra Australia’s Cootamundra Workshop has a fulltime position available for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated tradesperson.

The successful applicant will hold Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or relevant Heavy Vehicle Trade qualification.

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

  • Experience with diagnostics, repairs, servicing and overhauling of heavy vehicles including trucks, agricultural equipment and light vehicles.

  • Safety focused with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.

  • Good communication skills.

  • A dedication to providing quality work.

  • Able to work within a team environment.

  • Hold a current HR licence.

HEAVY HAULAGE TRUCK DRIVER TANKER OPERATIONS

Summary:

Primarily as Heavy Haulage Truck Driver. However other duties include: - servicing customer needs, work in a safe manner, cleaning and maintaining plant and equipment, maintain a clean presentable workplace, any other duties as directed and to work and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.

 

Hands on Duties Include but are not limited to:

·                 Attend to customer needs;

·           Operate heavy haulage trucks, primarily Cement Tanker (but may include, B Double combinations, truck & dog tipper, semi tipper, flat top trailer, agitator trucks, front-end loader).

·            Ensure trucks, plant, equipment you are operating are maintained and kept clean and presentable;

·                 Report all plant and equipment faults and servicing requirements to the fleet manager;

·              Co-operate with your allocator with servicing customer requirements, large jobs, truck transfers, staff absences etc.  This may require early starts, late finishes and staying away overnight;

·             Adhere to the applicable NHVL driving hours, mass limits and documentation regulations;

·                Ensure your vehicle is loaded within the correct weight and /or volume load limits for the vehicle;

·                 Sound understanding of WHS and Chain of Responsibility obligations;

·                 Housekeeping duties such as maintaining a clean and presentable garaging area.

Clerical Duties Include:

·                 Ensure the correct entries are made on load dockets and are signed by you;

·                 Ensure customers correctly sign for and receive delivery dockets;

·           Complete and submit to the head office, Delivery invoices, Daily log sheets, NHVL documentation including Mass Management load and axle weight records, BFM Fatigue Management and Maintenance Management documentation- daily pre starts, fault reports, service requests, driving hours, rest breaks/periods; WHS and CoR documentation, timesheets etc.

General:

·                 Commit to always providing the highest level of customer service;

·             Ensure at all times you are neatly dressed and presented in accordance with company policy and procedure;

·               Conduct yourself in a proper and professional manner in accordance with company policy and procedure;

·                 Work in a safe manner in accordance with company WHS policy and procedures;

·                 Adhere to the applicable state’s road rules and show courtesy to other road users;

·                 Attend training seminars or courses as required;

·                 Complete in-house induction and training;

Qualifications:

·                 Hold a current Drivers Licence, minimum standard of HC; possess a NHVR National Driver Work Diary;

·                 Have General Induction White Card;

·                 Heavy vehicle operation experience;

·                 Basic Fatigue Management Statement of Attainment;

·                 Competency for Front End Loader operation advantageous;

·                 Forklift operator’s licence advantageous.

Reporting:

·                 Report directly to the ‘Manager Heavy Vehicle and Bulk Fleet’ or in his absence to senior management;

·                 Liaise with the ‘Fleet Manager’ with regard to servicing, maintenance and breakdown of plant and equipment.
