Fleet Manager – Cootamundra NSW

Tegra Australia has an exciting and challenging position available for an energetic, positive, responsible Fleet Manager who will be reporting to the General Manager. This valuable role will see you developing relationships with divisional mangers within the company in day-to-day operations, taking charge of the comprehensive, regional fleet, driving continuous improvement and maintaining the very strong, rigorously disciplined maintenance systems within the Tegra group.

·      Be a leader and safety focused with a good understanding of WHS principles

·      Hold the appropriate Automotive Mechanical Technology qualification - mandatory

·    Previous knowledge of the premixed concrete, quarrying, landscape supply and bulk haulage industry is advantageous.

·      Provide governance and support to a team of division managers.

·      Perform in a team environment.

·      Excellent organizational skills.

·      Attention to detail and accuracy.

·      Excellent financial, IT, written and verbal skills.

·      A willingness to approach new challenges and meet priorities.

·   Understanding of compliance and standards within the pre-mixed concrete, quarrying and haulage industries.

·      Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, professionalism and customer service.

·      Current Driver’s Licence.

·      Remuneration includes a base salary package + superannuation (11.5%), vehicle, phone.

PLANT OPERATOR - WARRI QUARRY

Tegra Australia has a position available for a Quarry Plant Operator at their Warri Quarry. This sand and aggregate quarry is located at Braidwood NSW.

The successful applicant will be:

·      Hands on, energetic and keen to learn

·      Reporting to the Quarry Manager

·      Trained in the day to day operations of the quarry and its plant and equipment, including but not limited to front end loader, excavator, dump truck and processing plant operation and servicing.

·      After a trial period be enrolled in Cert III Surface Extraction Operations

·      Previous experience advantageous

HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANIC - COOTAMUNDRA

Tegra Australia’s Cootamundra Workshop has a fulltime position available for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and is inviting applications for an energetic and motivated tradesperson.

The successful applicant will hold Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or relevant Heavy Vehicle Trade qualification.

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

  • Experience with diagnostics, repairs, servicing and overhauling of heavy vehicles including trucks, agricultural equipment and light vehicles.

  • Safety focused with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.

  • Good communication skills.

  • A dedication to providing quality work.

  • Able to work within a team environment.

  • Hold a current HR licence.

·      Experience in agitator truck operation is advantageous but not essential.

·      On the job training provided.
